What we do.

Improving access to healthy, regionally grown, high-protein soy foods.

Planted July 8, 2019. Growing a collaborative soy food company in the Arkansas Delta.

Why did we create B&B Farms?

We discovered the value of adding soy foods to our family diet, but the problem was we couldn’t find soybeans in our grocery stores. We also didn’t know how to cook them.

This began to open our eyes to a growing problem in the Delta.

It inspired us to work towards increasing access to high-quality soy-food products in the Delta and across the US.

What’s happening in the Delta?

Arkansas ranks 7th in the nation with a 35% obesity rate.

There is a direct correlation in obesity and chronic illnesses such as heart disease and diabetes.  When looking at the areas within the state the Delta stands out with some of the highest obesity rates of over 38% in adults and over 26% of youth. In relation, the population in the Delta also faces high rates of chronic illnesses.

Arkansas farmers grow more soybean (over 3 million acres annually) than any other crop, but most Arkansans do not eat soy foods on a regular basis.

This is a food culture issue and health challenge.

Soy food consumption could help reduce diet-related diseases.

Access to quality, regionally sourced soy food products is virtually non-existent in Arkansas today.

We are seeking to change that!

Keep up with our progress in the Delta!
