December Farm Blog

Season’s Greetings from the Cache River!

Late November and early December rain arrived in time to welcome guests flying in.

The winter chill has arrived.

December has also included some beautiful days in the 50’s and 60’s which is a tremendous gift.

Mild weather has given us a chance to get outside chores completed before the serious winter weather.

Of course, seriously chilly weather around here is below 32 degrees. : - ) The South is a wonderful place to live!

Pecans continue to fall from the trees just in time for holiday pies! Picking up pecans at the farm is a family chore with a bonus.

Early December gives us a moment to catch our breath, reflect on the past year, and consider the year ahead.

We are excited to be adding a new family member to the table with a June wedding planned.

We are blessed with two Lauren’s in our family this Christmas!

From our family to yours, wishing you the greatest gifts of peace and love.

Blessings.

~Karen

P.S. A few fall colors remain as we move into winter on the farm.
