Soy Chef Webinar Nov 17th
Join us on Zoom to explore the future of whole soy foods!
What is the soy chef?
The 2023 Soy Chef is the first American culinary competition promoting healthier cuisine using minimally processed whole soybeans for the American palate.
The 2023 Soy Chef competition was held Friday, November 3, 2023, showcasing a variety of regionally grown vegetable soybeans.
A healthier American plate was on the menu for student chefs competing, with competitors serving up entrees, appetizers, and even desserts using whole soy foods.
Watch as student chefs defend their culinary creations in front of a panel of industry judges including a national award-winning chef, restaurant owners, a child nutrition professional, and agriculture industry leaders.
What is the goal of the competition?
The goal of the Soy Chef competition is to support, recognize, and disseminate student-led research that supports improved health outcomes for Americans.
The 2023 Soy Chef Competition is being produced through a partnership that includes B & B Legacy Farms, LLC, the Mid-South Soybean Board (representing Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas farmers), and the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College - Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute (CAHMI).
Thanks to Chad Hooten, Arkansas Farm Bureau for their coverage of the 2023 Soy Chef event.
I look forward to seeing you on Friday, November 17th, during the webinar.
